Dragon Age 4 Is Shaping Up Mighty Fine, According To EA
EA and Bioware’s big fantasy RPG sequel is on schedule, according to recent reports.
Venturebeat journalist Jeff Grubb has reported that Bioware’s upcoming Dragon Age 4 is potentially going to release in 2023. The game is in good shape, with its developers hitting their respective milestones and thus being on schedule.
“It is still at least 18 months out from today, so not early 2023, maybe late 2023, maybe. That seems to be the earliest you can begin to expect it.”
Guess removing all that live service nonsense out of Dragon Age 4 helped exponentially, huh?
In related news, Bioware has no plans on releasing a remastered Dragon Age trilogy similar to Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This is because the Dragon Age titles aren’t as linked as the Mass Effect trilogy; plus they were made on different engines. Just take a look at Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2, and you’ll see the differences in gameplay, engine, and quality.
