The Dying Light Games Sold A Combined Total Of 25+ Million Copies
Techland’s Dying Light games are making bank, showing that there’s still staying power for open-world zombie games with parkour mechanics.
Techland has announced that Dying Light 2: Stay Human sold 5 million copies in its first month of release. The first Dying Light has surpassed 20 million units. That makes it a total of 25 million copies. Here’s a comment from Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka:
“The success of the Dying Light franchise is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players.”
Will there be more Dying Light 2? Yes; Techland will be announcing new content next week. We can’t wait; we had fun with the base game and can’t wait to see more crazy zombie parkour action unfold in the near future. Check out our glowing review of Dying Light 2 here.
