Dying Light 2 New Game Plus Update Is Now Live
Update 1.3.0 is here and that means the Dying Light 2 update is now live, addressing myriad co-op issues and delivering completely new endgame content eagerly awaited by the community. Dying Light 2 New Game Plus will be available to every player that has finished the base game and allows survivors to revisit The City, relive the story, and make different narrative decisions, with new scaling, higher difficulty, and great bonuses.
In Dying Light 2 New Game Plus, players will keep the character progression of their initial adventure, but there will be new content like 30 new Inhibitors. Enemies will scale to Aiden’s level, but for those seeking more a challenging skirmish, Techland has prepared encounters with golden marks. There will also be new quests, like the “Something Big Has Been Here” quest.
Many of these new encounters will reward players with greater “Legendary” weapon rarity and valuable items. But for those who prefer to collect titles over the prizes, Techland added a new platinum medal for parkour challenges, with goal times based on the community’s best results.
The patch also contains a bunch of other tweaks, including the fix to a bug that could block a player’s singleplayer progression after a co-op session. However, players will have to collect the nightrunner tools all over again by replaying through the story, such as Aiden’s binoculars, paraglider, and UV flashlight.
