Charlize Theron Gives First Official Look At Her Character In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness
Marvel Studios and Charlize Theron have given us our first official look at the character the actress plays in the first post-credits scene of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. However, some might still consider this to be a spoiler, so you’d better stop reading now if you don’t want to know any more details.
Without context or details, you wouldn’t know who she is. Plus, once again, this is officially coming from the source (Marvel Studios/Charlize Theron), so we’re not actually spoiling anything.
In the first post-credits scene of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is walking down the street when a strange (pun intended) woman suddenly appears in the middle of the street. She tells him that his actions involving the multiverse caused an “incursion”. She then rips a portal to the Dark Dimension, and asks Doctor Strange to follow her, which he does.
In the comics, Clea is the niece of Dormammu, and the daughter of Umar (who is Dormammu’s sister). She is of the powerful race of magical beings called the Faltine. She also married Doctor Strange in the comics, and is currently the Sorcerer Supreme of both the Dark Dimension and Earth after Doctor Strange’s death.
