Little Red Dot To Host Dota 2’s T11

Dota 2 developer Valve has announced that The International 11 (also known as TI11 or The International 2022), which will be this year’s iteration of the MOBA game’s annual world championship esportstournament, will take place in Singapore. This will be the first time in the tournament’s decade-long history that it will be held in a country in Southeast Asia.

The news was revealed during the grand finals of the ESL One Dota 2 Stockholm Major.

Singapore has previously played host to other international esports tournaments like the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore Major in April 2021, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M3 World Championship in December 2021 and the upcoming League of Legends: Wild Rift 2022 Icons Global Championship in June 2022.

Southeast Asia represent! Last year’s TI10 in Bucharest, Romania, saw Team Spirit emerging as the champions.
