Set after the fall of the Empire, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, “Ahsoka” stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is the co-executive producer.

A Reference To The Events During The Mandalorian Season 3

Captain Carson Teva mentions the “conflict on Mandalore” during the tribunal of General Hera Syndulla. This is, of course, a reference to what happened during The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 8, when the Mandalorian forces went up against Moff Gideon and his Imperial Remnants.

C-3PO Makes A Surprising Appearance

During the tribunal of General Hera Syndulla, the iconic droid C-3PO appears to help defend General Hera Syndulla by saying that Senator Leia Organa (yes, Princess Leia) was the one that officially authorized General Hera Syndulla’s mission on Seatos in previous episodes of Ahsoka.

Hayden Christensen Reprises His Role As Anakin Skywalker For The Second Time In Ahsoka

A hologram recording of Anakin Skywalker helped Ahsoka during a training session. Ahsoka reveals that this was his last ever recording for her before he became Darth Vader.

We Find Out What Zeb Is Doing During All This

While bringing Ezra up to speed on the state of their galaxy since he’s been gone, Sabine tells him that Zeb (one of the original crew members of the Ghost in Star Wars Rebels) is busy “training recruits”.

We last saw Zeb in his brief cameo in The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 5.

Ezra Is Powerful Enough To Repel Shin Hati’s Lightsaber Using The Force

The last time we saw someone who could do this was Darth Vader when he was fighting Inquisitor Reva in 2022’s Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 Episode 5.

What’s funny is that Shin Hati gets the same treatment by Ahsoka just a few moments later in the same episode.

Only One Episode Left

The episode ends on a hopeful note as Shin Hati and the Night Troopers end up on the run, and with Ahsoka reunited with Ezra and Sabine.

However, there’s only one episode left in Ahsoka Season 1, so what’s in store for us in next week’s episode?
