Official Silent Hill Updates From Konami Coming This Thursday

Rumours of new Silent Hill games have been swirling for years, with the latest as recently as several months ago. Finally, it’s confirmed as Konami has launched a new Silent Hill website which reveals that the Japanese company will announce new updates or new games in the franchise at 5 am GMT+8 on Thursday, 20 October 2022.

The official tweet that announces this news comes with a caption that says,”In your restless dreams, do you see that town?”

It’s also interesting that Silent Hill series monster designer Masahiro Ito has also apparently retweeted the announcement, which means that he may be involved. The last major instalment in the franchise was Silent Hill Downpour, which originally launched all the way back in 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
