Hogwarts Legacy: Percival Rackham Trials Walkthrough
Hogwarts Legacy has an ongoing main questline featuring ancient magic and a bunch of old wizards and witches. As such, they’re all mandatory to complete it if you want to get closer to the game’s ending.
The Percival Rackham’s Trials quest has a bunch of tricky portal puzzles and platforms that require you to use Accio a lot. Here’s a guide on how to get through it.
You receive the quest after taking Professor Fig to the Map Chamber; this is part of the main story quest so you cannot miss it. He’ll then tell you of a tower to the north.
Once you head to the north tower (preferably via broom), you’ll be given a short tutorial that you can stealth kill enemies using Petrificus Totalus as long as you stay invisible via your early-level invisibility spell.
After you’re done here, you then run to the tower’s entrance. Just follow Professor Fig here. By the way, create a manual save or two at this point because there’s a game bug here that prevents progression.
Cast Revelio in the area and you’ll see dark wisps; just follow the course of the story and you’ll be at the trials.
This trial’s dungeon has several platform puzzles. There’s a veil portal that changes the layout of a puzzle room if you pass through them from a specific side.
For these platforms, use Accio to pull the platforms to other grapple points. If you cannot grapple anywhere or the way is barred, pass through veil portals to see if the room changed.
You’ll also fight a boss called the Pensieve Guardian at the end of the trial. Check out the video solution below to solve all three trials and deal with the big boss.
