Korean VALORANT Team On Sla2ers Rebrands & Announce New Roster

On Sla2ers recently revealed their new roster and underwent a rebranding initiative, adding ‘Incheon’ to their name.

Last season, On Sla2ers (pronounced On Slayers), had an impressive run, even securing two runners-up titles at VCT Korea Stage 1 Challengers and VCT East Asia Last Chance Qualifier. Unfortunately, they were forced to disband due to the lack of a partnership in the 2023 VCT Pacific league.

However, they didn’t let that stop them and have since rebuilt their team for VCT 2023. They promoted their academy roster, ‘All Ways Incheon,’ but unfortunately, didn’t do well in the open qualifier stage of VCL Korea Split 1.

Determined to make a comeback, On Sla2ers underwent a second rebuild with a lineup that looked promising. But, they struggled to make it to the main event, leading to another roster drop.

Despite setbacks, On Sla2ers managed to acquire one of the unsigned main event teams, Never Give Up, which allowed them to compete at the top level once again. To return to the forefront of the larger-APAC circuit, they left no stone unturned, undergoing a rebranding initiative and revamping their talent pool.

Their squad is led by three former OQ Academy players who won the ESL Clash of Nations KR/JP tournament last year. They are joined by Kim “BeomJun” Beom-jun, a Korean prospect who T1 initially picked up as their sixth man. They also have JaebiN, a wild card player who has only played Jett but has an impressive average combat score of 226.

Finally, rounding out their seven-man roster are two players from their previous lineup: Ha “Ash” Hyun-cheol and Yoo “Manggong” Seung-beom. On Sla2ers, or rather, Incheon On Sla2ers, is ready to compete and make a name for themselves once again.

Roster

  • Ha “Ash” Hyun-cheol
  • Yoo “Manggong” Seung-beom
  • Kim “BeomJun” Beom-jun
  • Lee “Hate” Ye-hun
  • Kim “NakJi” Sang-hyeop
  • Kim “WIX” Doo-heon
  • JaebiN
  • MungHoon (Coach)
