Diablo 4 Will Receive New Story Content Every Season & Quarter Post-Launch

If you’re done with Diablo 4’s story campaign, rest assured that there will be more.

True to the past games, Diablo 4 will get seasonal content every three months; said content will introduce new storylines according to a Game Informer cover story. The game’s associate game director Joe Piepiora said that the quarterly DLC shouldn’t be labelled as an “expansion” but rather post-launch content with additional story content tied with new mechanics and features, all related to the season update. Each update comes with a seasonal battle pass which has both free and premium forms.
