Diablo 4 Will Let You Skip The Campaign If You Beat It Once
Back in Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 when they launched in their respective years, if you wanted to play multiple characters, you will have to go through the entire campaign from scratch. This means tons of cutscenes, and a linear structure you have to follow. This was especially painful in Diablo 3 pre-Reaper of Souls.
Thankfully, Blizzard has listened and will be giving players the option to skip the campaign for future playthroughs. Once you’ve beaten the game with your first character, you can level up your other characters and skip the story/campaign.
Gotta beat the campaign once for this.

This is useful for leveling up future classes and characters you want to play as, without being forced into playing the campaign. This got tiresome, especially in action RPGs like Path of Exile and Diablo 2 Resurrected. Your characters can farm world activities or spam dungeons to your heart’s content; essentially you’re going through Diablo 3’s Adventure Mode but from the get-go instead of waiting a year or so for the expansion to do it.
Diablo 4 will be out on 6th June for PC and consoles, but you can play it on 2nd June if you bought the non-normal editions.
