Assassin’s Creed Codename Red Could Be Out In 2024

A new LinkedIn post this year could allude to a release window for a new Assassin’s Creed game.

Announced last year, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is an upcoming Ubisoft action-adventure game featuring assassins and ninjas, set in Feudal Japan. The game doesn’t have a release date or window, but there’s a LinkedIn post that has accidentally set the latter. The post from Ubisoft business development executive Arisa Lagunzad said the company was looking for a Japanese partner to work on “the biggest blockbuster of 2024”.

“We are seeking sponsoring partner for this title Assassin’s Creed Codename RED for next year.”

The upcoming game will feature two playable characters and have a strong focus on stealth even if it’s going to be an action RPG in the veins of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Origin. In related news, the next two flagship games after this year’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be codenamed Red and Hexe.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Red will be out for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
