Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Shows Off Opening Grasslands Area & New Minigames

At Tokyo Game Show 2023, Square Enix showed over 30 minutes of new gameplay footage from the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The new footage focused on mini-games playable in the Grasslands opening area in the game, including the Mog House, Queen’s Blood card game, Chocobo customization at the Chocobo Ranch, a piano rhythm game, and more.

The Grasslands opening area alone is a vast map spanning a two-kilometer radius.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is slated to release for the PS5 on 29 February 2024.
