Diablo 4 Expansion Officially Announced; Out Late 2024

Blizzard has announced the first-ever expansion for action RPG Diablo 4.

The expansion is called Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, and it will continue the dark tale that started in the base game. The expansion will focus on Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred and one of the game lore’s Prime Evils and what he has in store for Sanctuary. The teaser highlights Kurast (from Diablo 2), a new area called Nahantu, and the voice of Neyrelle, followed by foreboding words from Mephisto.

The expansion will also bring in a new character class never seen before in the Diablo universe. So no Paladin returning, in other words. More info on the game will be shared in Summer 2024.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred will be out in late 2024 for PC and consoles. We reported on rumours about the expansion earlier; you can check out the info here. So far a few things have checked out, particularly with the story and the new area.
