Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Announced By MAPPA Following Season 2 Finale

After the final episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 or Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Incident aired on Friday, MAPPA has announced that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 or Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game is already officially in the works.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game, the Culling Game refers to the most unprecedented act of jujutsu terrorism ever enacted. The conflict immediately follows the Shibuya Incident and is orchestrated by Kenjaku with the goal of evolving humanity by optimizing cursed energy. The game functions as a lethal battle royal where players kill one another with jujutsu. Players must adhere to the strict rules of the game and fight across ten barrier colonies that form a line down Japan.

So, it’s basically the tournament arc of the series.

The second season premiered in July 2023, with the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc having aired from 6 July through 3 August 2023, and the Shibuya Incident arc having started on 31 August 2023.
