Halo Season 2 Trailer Teases More Space Action & Return Of Helmetless Master Chief

Remember the live-action Halo series that premiered on Paramount Plus back in 2022? Yeah, the second season is arriving soon and the first full trailer for Halo Season 2 is here.

After the divisive first season, it’s currently unclear if Halo Season 2 will be adapting any of the Halo games. Halo Season 2 already changed a lot of details about Halo lore, including adding stuff that wasn’t in the games (such as Spartans rebelling against the UNSC).

The Halo series stars Pablo Schreiber as supersoldier Master Chief AKA John-117, and Natascha McElhone as scientist Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey.

The second season’s description reads:

“Master Chief John-117 (Schreiber) leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe — that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction: the Halo.”

There’s a chance that Halo Season 2 could be potentially better than the first season since the second season is helmed by new showrunner David Wiener. The first season had two showrunners; Kyle Killen and Steven Kane.

The first two episodes of Halo Season 2 will debut on 8 February 2024 on Paramount Plus. New episodes will drop weekly following the season premiere.
