Hades 2 Is Out Right Now In Early Access, And Features A Whole Lotta Game

Talk about the mother of all shadow drops: the most anticipated indie game sequel is out in Early Access right now.

That’s right: Hades 2 is out in Early Access on Steam right now after 4 years or so of development. And is worth playing as it is full of content. Even in an unfinished state, the game has a lot to offer from different stages to many god power-ups. For those not in the know, you play as the Princess of the Underworld Melinoe (or Mel) as she fights her way through Chronos the titan. She has to deal with enemies in real-time action using spells and attacks, as well as gain boons to boost her current journey. If she dies, she starts back at the beginning.

Hades 2 has a lot to offer in its unfinished state, with its major update coming in a few months or so. Developer Supergiant Games will be working through the end of 2024 to get it to a 1.0 state. As of now, the current RM72 price tag is worth it unless you really don’t like to play Early Access games. Right now, the game’s key features include:

• Multiple regions and boss fights (you can revisit for reasons),
• Four weapons,
• Four gathering tools,
• All sorts of new enemy types,
• Loads of fully-voiced dialogue and narration,
• Hours of new music,
• Several new and returning gods and their boon upgrades,
• Plenty of new and returning items to use outside of each run,
• A handful of new and returning progression systems.
