Dreadout 3 Announced; To Be Published By Soft Source In 2026

Get ready for more indie Indonesian scares inspired by Fatal Frame and Silent Hill with the third entry in the Dreadout series.

Digital Happiness’ latest project is Dreadout 3, which will get publishing and distribution help from Singapore-based publisher Soft Source. The game will be out in 2026 “after Grand Theft Auto VI has released” according to the developers. You still control Linda, the protagonist from the first two games and still has her phone to help her see through horrors Fatal Frame style.

“Follow Linda’s journey as Keepers of the Dark into an interdimensional rabbit hole to find the source of unseen power threatening the balance of light and darkness. This spine-chilling sequel expands on the cult hit original, making DreadOut 3 another terrifying chapter in the world of the unseen.”
