Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Slashes In With Cool New Weapons & Moves
By Syazwan Bahri|May 29, 2019|0 Comment
Monster Hunter: World is Capcom’s number one selling game of all time, pushing up to 12.4 million units across the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Naturally, they’re going to capitalize on this its first major expansion in September titled Iceborne, now featuring a ton of cool moves and beasties to slay. The expansion will feature many fan-favourite monsters like the Nargacuga as seen in this trailer.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1P4HLHwz-0]But that’s not the main point of the story here. I did mention new action and animations for your trusty old weapons. Check them out below:
The Clutch Claw is Monster Hunter’s latest gadget in the hunter arsenal, allowing hunters to grapple onto monsters. The gadget is also used to perform devastating attacks or even guide the monster momentarily.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtHUH2aU1UQ]All the featured weapons above with their new animations got me extremely stoked! My favourite move would be the Long Sword Iai , or “foresight draw slash” for those not familiar with sword stances. It has “anime weeb” written all over it, and I’m a sucker for anime-inspired attack moves.
I’m truly hyped for this game, but it seems that I’m stuck between Iceborne which releases on 6 September and Borderlands 3, which the latter is coming a week apart from Monster Hunter World‘s largest expansion ever. Both of the games require commitment and patience.
Not that I’m complaining; September is a helluva great month to be a gamer!
