[Report] Tencent Is Developing A New Pokémon Game
China games giant Tencent has revealed that it is working with The Pokémon Company for a mysterious new Pokémon game. The development of the new Pokémon game will be handled by Tencent’s Timi Studio (via Reuters).
According to Kantan Games CEO Serkan Toto, Timi Studio is best known for developing some of Tencent’s biggest mobile games, including Call Of Duty Mobile and popular MOBA game Arena Of Valor.
Wow, Tencent and The Pokemon Company are developing a new game (probably for smart devices).
Development taken over by Tencent’s TIMI studio, which is responsible for the company’s biggest hits (+ the upcoming Call Of Duty Mobile).

The new Tencent Pokémon game will likely be a mobile game as well, considering Timi’s other products. The Chinese publisher has yet to reveal any details or information about the game, including what platforms it will be on and what kind of game it actually is.
After the massive popularity of Niantic’s Pokémon Go, DeNA’s Pokémon Masters game will be next mobile title based on the franchise to be released on non-Nintendo platforms.
