The time has come for our first over Apex Legends Christmas event. In case you guys didn’t notice, Apex Legends was just released in February this year and it’s already become one of the best battle royale experiences out there.

Mirage’s Holo-Day Bash Collection Event has arrived. It’s time for everyone to celebrate the holiday season in the way that everyone’s favourite narcissist, Mirage, enjoys most. Not too long ago, Respawn rolled out an update to increase the level cap and now players can use that opportunity to earn new Christmas-themed skins and other cosmetics.

The main attraction of the Holo-Day Bash Collection Event is the Winter Express Limited Time Mode. Three squads compete to capture the World’s Edge train but this time it moves in a smaller radius to ensure that you’re never too far from the action. No looting needs to be done in this mode as all Legends spawn with a custom pre-determined loadout that’s changed daily.

Every major Apex Legends update comes with new challenges and a bunch of new cosmetics to unlock. This time, players have the chance to get two Legendary weapon skins plus other cool stuff. The Legendary skins are for the G7 Scout and the L-Star EMG.

Mirage’s name in the event title isn’t just for show. The Town Takeover happening this time bring Mirage’s party boat to World’s Edge. Called the Mirage Voyage, players can come on board to check out the hologram hedonist’s hot tub, dance floor, and other attractions.

The best part of this event is arguably the event limited Legend skins that you can unlock or purchase. We’ve got Caustic playing Santa, Octane blasting his way as Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer, Pathfinder in his most jolly paint job yet, plus many others.

Unlock all 24 Holo-Day bash Collection Pack Items and you’ll get the Pathfinder Heirloom set. It’s a pair of boxing gloves that also Pathfinder’s signature emoji and image displays on its wrists and back. Don’t worry if you can’t get them during the event, they’ll still be available as an Apex Pack bonus after the even ends.

The cherry on top of the Holo-Day Bash Collection Event is the return of another Double XP Weekend. From 13 December to 16 December 2019, everyone will earn double XP on all XP except for Battle Pass challenge Star rewards. The bonus affects both Account Level and Battle Pass progression.
