We’re Getting A Tintin Adventure Game From A French Game Publisher
By Jonathan Toyad|April 27, 2020|0 Comment
Herge’s boy reporter-slash-adventurer Tintin is getting his own brand-new adventure game after 9 years since that Steven Spielberg adaptation.
French publisher Microids, who published the adventure game adaptation of the renowned French comic Blacksad (ie the one with the panther detective), has announced that they will be releasing a new Tintin “action-adventure” Tintin game. The title will feature characters from the comics like Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, detectives Thomson and Thompson, and Snow the dog. What kind of a Tintin game would not include the smart-as-heck white doge?
Here are some obligatory press words from company CEO Stéphane Longeard:
“This really is a dream come true for us. The adventures of Tintin transported millions of readers worldwide and this opportunity will allow us to put our talents at the service of one of the biggest creators of the 20th century and its inked hero: Our team members are fans of the famous reporter and will do their best to pay this franchise a vibrant homage. We can’t wait to kick-off this project!”
