The previous Marvel’s Avengers War Table live stream in July 2020 revealed Hawkeye as one of the game’s post-launch playable heroes, while developers Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal announced another one (Spider-Man) earlier this month.

The next Marvel’s Avengers War Table live stream is taking place at 1am GMT+8 on 2 September 2020 on YouTube and Twitch.

The upcoming presentation will include “numerous world-exclusive reveals, such as an in-depth look at the first post-launch story season for the Avengers Initiative, and the unveiling of an additional post-launch playable hero”.

More details will also be revealed about the game’s progression system and high-level content, the game’s first post-launch content season, and more. Perhaps this new playable hero will be one of the many names leaked from a recent data-mine.

Perhaps it’s Ant-Man? We’ve already seen him in one of the game’s earlier promotional trailers. We know that he’ll be in the game, but it was never confirmed that he would be playable.

Marvel’s Avengers is slated to release for the PS4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Stadia on 4 September 2020. In the meantime, check out some gameplay from the recent Beta below.
