Marvel’s WandaVision To Premiere In January 2021

We finally have a release date for the first TV series from Marvel Studios. WandaVision is slated to premiere on Disney Plus next year on 15 January 2021.

What this means is that 2020 will be the first year since 2009 that Marvel Studios will not have released any content whatsoever. It was previously rumoured that WandaVision would still be premiering in 2020, but that’s not the case anymore.

WandaVision will be set after 2019’s Avengers Endgame, with the married Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) seemingly happy in the idyllic town of Westview. However, all is not as it seems.

The synopsis for the series reads:

The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
