Tales Of Luminaria Is The Next Big Bandai Namco JRPG Entry For Mobile
Publisher Bandai Namco shared new information about its upcoming Tales of entry titled Tales of Luminaria.
The game itself is an action RPG where you control three heroes you can switch in-between combat, each with their own attacks and special Artes moves. It features a roster of 21 characters which you’ll most likely gacha for in the game’s free-to-play model. The game’s story revolves around the conflict between knights-in-training called the Federation and the Empire; you’ll start off with lead characters and childhood friends Leo, Celia, and Hugo.
Check out the gameplay below, both in English and Japanese dub. The game seems to have a sizeable budget to have both English and JP localization:
If the gameplay seems a tad familiar, that’s because it’s being developed by Colopl, a mobile game developer known for its smash hit gacha mobile RPG title White Cat Project/Shironeko. You can pre-register the game on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
In addition, a Tales of Luminaria anime adaptation called Tales of Luminaria: The Fateful Crossroad is in production. The anime will be available on Funimation. There’s no release date for Tales of Luminaria at this point in time.
