It was only a few days ago that Activision announced the release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, but details about the game have already been leaked via data miners (via Charlie Intel).

The details were apparently found on Call of Duty: Vanguard files related to the recent Season 3 Reloaded update. Allegedly, like the previous Call Of Duty betas, PS4 and PS5 players will be granted early access to the open beta first before those on other platforms. However, due to the Microsoft Activision acquisition, this will likely be the last year of PlayStation exclusivity.

The data mine also revealed that there will be three game editions for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. These include the standard edition and Cross-Gen Bundle. Both come with the game, early access to the open beta, and other unspecified items.

The third and last is a Vault Edition, which also comes with early access to the open beta, but with the addition of the Battle Pass Season 1 with 50 Tier Skips, the Red Team Operator Pack containing Operators Ghost, Farah, Price, and Soap, 10 hours of 2x XP and 10 hours of 2x weapons XP, FJX Cinder Weapon Vault, and the Ghost Legacy Pack, which is said to contain 12 Operator Skins and 10 Weapon Blueprints.

Last but not least, the data mine also claims that the game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. However, Activision has yet to officially announce or confirm any of this, so it’s better to take everything with a grain of salt for now.
