Happy Labour Day: Our Favourite Workers In Video Games
Happy Labour Day, everyone.
To celebrate the mid-holiday and the first of May, let’s pay tribute to video games’ most under-appreciated workhorses. All of them.
Before Blizzard made the Warcraft series its MMO cash cow, the franchise used to be a strategy title where humans and orcs fought each other with soldiers and ballistas. But before you can get all of that off the ground, you need workers to mine for gold and cut wood for lumber resources. Enter the Alliance’s peasants and Horde’s peons: without them, you can’t build jack.
Plus, their quotes are hilarious, ranging from “work work”, to “yes m’lord”.
