A Plague Tale Requiem Launches This October
By Alleef Ashaari|June 24, 2022|0 Comment
Focus Home Entertainment and Asobo Studio have announced that A Plague Tale Requiem will launch for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming on 18 October 2022. The game will also be available Day One with Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC and Cloud.
Pre-orders are now available.
It’s a sequel to 2019’s A Plague Tale Innocence. One of the new gameplay mechanics is that you can scan for enemies and their locations will be highlighted. This even works through walls.
In the previous game, Amicia couldn’t assassinate enemies like in other traditional stealth games. However, it looks like things are different in the sequel, where players can either strike or stab. It also looks like stabbings will probably be limited based on how many knives you have or something.
What’s even more awesome is that Amicia can now use a crossbow to kill enemies. This sequel is certainly giving players a lot more options to deal with enemies, which is a welcome upgrade from the previous game.
In this new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeve and doesn’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.
