Brought to you by Samsung.
We rely so much on our smartphones on a daily basis that it has become a necessity to own a smartphone with long lasting battery. You know the feeling when you don’t have the luxury of constant power supply and you are always reminded that you have 15% battery life remaining? Well, we want to avoid that at all cost! With the advanced improvements over the previous generation, the Galaxy Z Flip4 now has a larger battery capacity with a 3,700 mAh. Here are a few tips to help you prolong the battery life of your device!
Turn on your Power Saving Mode!
Turning on power saving mode helps to limit your device’s power consumption, allowing your battery to last longer when charged again. Aside from having a powerful battery smartphone like the Galaxy Z Flip4, maintaining your battery is also a good practice for sustaining a longer battery life. With this Power Saving Mode enabled, your device can limit the refresh rate and the number of background applications.
How-to: Scroll down to Battery and Device Care, click on battery, and select Power Saving mode, which will do the majority of the work for you.
Put Your Unused App to Sleep
Another cause that shortens the life of your phone’s battery is always the app that’s running in the background without us knowing, and while most phones begin to heat up mostly because of this as well. However, the Galaxy Z Flip4 provides a cooling performance with an upgraded cooling system for stable operation without heat damage. Even so, you should always keep an eye on your background running apps. This would allow you to run other apps that aren’t being used or aren’t functioning in the background, consuming your battery.
How-to: Try going to Settings > Background > Select Background Usage Limit > Put Unused App to Sleep.
Get your Dark Mode enabled!
Having complete control between a light and dark mode on your phone settings is a great way to make it feel more like it’s made just for you. Nevertheless, if you want to avoid draining or shortening the battery life, it’s recommended to use dark mode as the black pixels will turn off completely that helps to reduce battery usage. Furthermore, when using your phone, you can reduce the brightness level because a dimmer screen means lesser battery consumption.
How-to: Head to Settings > Quick Settings > and select Dark Mode!
Finally, even if charging your phone takes a while, it’s important to avoid overcharging it because doing so could damage your battery health. However, the Galaxy Z Flip4 has you covered because it charges your phone 12% faster than the Galaxy Z Flip3 did, so you don’t need to be concerned about slow charging.
What are you waiting for, power up with longer battery life with Galaxy Z Flip4 now!
