Marvel Snap PvP Update To Launch Later This Month
Marvel fanboys and digital cardsharks looking to fight it out with friends, families, and fellow addicts; the wait is almost over. Marvel Snap’s PvP update is coming soon.
Developer Second Dinner said that the game’s ability to battle friends will be out as part of a bigger patch on 31 January, though it comes with a slight heads-up:
“If we run into last-minute issues we may choose to delay for a little longer to make sure things work correctly.”
The update will also introduce Series Drops, which are updates to card rarity planned for release on a monthly basis. With every drop, some cards in a particular series will move to a lower-numbered series, which makes them 10 times more common in the Collector’s Reserves and cheaper in the Token Shop.
“All cards will eventually become easy to obtain through enough Series Drops. However, there are currently two cards that we do not plan to drop down a series: Our favourite 6-Cost supervillains, Thanos and Galactus. They’re just too dang epic.”
Cards that are going into Series 4 include:
- Super Skrull
- Shuri
- Black Panther
- Valkyrie
- Bast

Cards that are moving to Series 3 will be:
- She-Hulk
- Titania
- Luke Cage
- Absorbing Man
