The M5 World Championship Will Take Place In The Philippines

The M5 World Championship of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament will take place in the Philippines, according to Moonton, the game developer. The Philippines has had a strong showing in the tournament in recent years, leading to the decision to host the event there. The M5 World Championship is set to take place in December 2023.

It was announced that the M5 World Championship, following the successful hosting of the M4 World Championship in Indonesia, will be held in the Philippines. This was revealed through a video during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship event. The Philippines’ dominance in the game, as well as their achievement of having “All Filipino Finals” for two seasons in a row, were factors in the decision to hold the event in the Philippines. The M5 World Championship is planned to take place in December 2023, according to Moonton’s Road Map for 2023.

As per Moonton’s Road Map, there are several upcoming competitions that will take place this year. Following the M4 World Championship, an official tournament specifically for the women’s competitive scene named the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Woman Invitational, is scheduled to occur in February 2023.

After the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Woman Invitational, the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) and other official competitions in various countries will take place. Additionally, the 2023 Cambodian Sea Games will be held in May, followed by the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 in June, and ending with the MPL Invitational 2023 before the M5 World Championship.

Currently, there is no additional information available about the specifics of the M5 World Championship. However, based on the format of the previous season, it is expected that the event will again invite 16 teams from the top 12 countries to participate.
