Halo Infinite Finally Add Fan-Made Map Playlist

Halo Infinite has addressed a significant issue by introducing a fan-made map playlist. This playlist allows players to access and play custom maps created by the Halo community, providing a much-needed solution to a problem that had been affecting the gaming experience for many players.

This new playlist is a huge step forward for Halo Infinite, as it gives players access to a much wider variety of maps, created by fans, who are often more creative and passionate about the game. This will improve the overall multiplayer experience and provide players with fresh and exciting new content to play with.

With the addition of this playlist, Halo Infinite is taking a big step towards fixing one of its biggest problems, the lack of maps. The community-created map playlist is a great example of how developers can listen to their fans and make improvements to the game based on their feedback.

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer offerings were criticized for a lack of maps, but now with the introduction of a custom game browser and a matchmaking playlist focused on community-created maps, players have access to a wider selection of maps.

The in-game map editor, Forge, has been a source of creativity and innovation for players, who have been creating their own maps since November or even before that due to leaks. With the new playlist, players can easily find and play these cool new maps.

343 Industries has launched the Halo Infinite Community Collection playlist across all platforms, consisting of four maps created by fans. This is a dedicated playlist which allows players to easily play and match up with others on selected custom Forge maps, chosen by 343 Industries. The Community Collection includes a mixture of new and classic Halo-inspired maps.

The first four maps added to this new playlist are:

  • Starboard – A remake of Halo 2’s Midship,
  • Perilous – A new map partly inspired by Lockout.
  • Absolution – A new arena made mostly of stone.
  • Salvation – A Banish-themed remake of the classic Halo map, Hang ‘Em High.

I’m thrilled to hear about the release of new maps, including updated versions of classic battlefields, in Halo Infinite. However, what excites me, even more, is that this is just the beginning. 343 Industries has stated that they plan to include more maps created by fans in the Community Collection playlist in the future and will announce more details later. For now, let’s enjoy this great new addition to Halo Infinite.
