Grab your weapons, stock up on supplies, and get ready for an all-new AAA survival game. Developer Splash Damage teams up with Twitch superstars Shroud and Sacriel to create a new open-world survival game. The brand new game, Project Astrid, is currently in production and well, that is all we know… for now. We also know that this will be a completely new IP.

“This project means everything to me,” said Mike ‘shroud’ Grzesiek. “Chris and I have refined a vision for what’s next in the survival genre and with Splash Damage we’re setting out to build it. We want to build the best survival game ever, and with Sacriel’s brain and Splash Damage’s team, I know we can do it.”

Shroud will mainly be focusing on the gunplay aspect of the game to ensure the best immersive and enjoyable experience for players.

Chris ‘Sacriel’ Ball said:

Sacriel, talks more about the storytelling potential that can be done in survival game.

He said:

“It’s not exactly clear what position these two streamers will be in terms of roles, but they are referred to as “core members of the development team.”

Fans are eager to see the outcome of this collaboration between the legendary Shroud, Sacriel, and the innovative minds at Splash Damage.
