Wait, the most-hated MCU sequel in cinema history is ranked somewhere in the middle? Come on, it wasn’t that bad. It had the difficult job of not only being a decent sequel to the first Iron Man movie but also setting up many of the characters and plot threads for the massive crossover that will happen in 2012’s The Avengers.

It had to juggle the introduction of both War Machine and Black Widow, as well as two underwhelming villains in Justin Hammer and Ivan Vanko (who was a weird fusion of Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo).
