Warhammer 40K Boltgun To Bring Back Retro Boomer Shooting This May
The Warhammer 40K franchise has been on a roll, especially with the release of Darktide and Chaosgate: Daemonhunters last year. With a Left 4 Dead multiplayer PvE shooter and turn-based strategy already covered, what’s next for the Games Workshop scifi brand?
How about boomer shooters? Enter Warhammer 40K Boltgun, which is basically a first-person shooter set in the 40K universe and styled like a 90s shooter not unlike Doom, Duke Nukem, and Shadow Warrior. The game is published by Focus Entertainment and made by Auroch Digital.
Warhammer 40K features old-school visceral combat, gunplay, heavy metal, and retro graphics that will rekindle your love of 90s PC gaming. Check out the trailer below to see it all in action.
Warhammer 40K Boltgun will be out on 23 May for PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
