Sea Of Stars Might Get DLC Post-Launch

Sea Of Stars, the indie role-playing game from Sabotage Studio that essentially is a modernized 90s JRPG archetype, might be getting DLC.

This is confirmed by the company CEO Thierry Boulanger in a recent interview on Canada Radio. As mentioned at the tail end of the interview, Thierry said that the company is indeed planning another game, aiming for the same development process that it adopted last time with its 2018 game The Messenger. Basically they will have a small portion of the team starting work on the next new game, while the rest of the team will work on the DLC for the previously-released game. Keep in mind that The Messenger had DLC out the following year.

No release date or year window has been announced for the Sea of Stars DLC. The game isn’t even out yet, so we won’t hear much about that for a long, long while. As for Sea of Stars? It’ll be out on 29 August after 12pm GMT+8 for consoles and PC. Look forward to our review this week.
