Like A Dragon Gaiden Will Not Include English Dub At Launch

“Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name,” a spin-off from the popular Yakuza series, will initially launch without an English dub.

Kiryu’s new voice actor, Yong Yea, confirmed the news via a tweet, in which he stated that there won’t be an English dub available on release day but will be added later on in a post-release patch, although no release date for the English dub has been mentioned.

“Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who faked his death to protect his family,” says director Masayoshi Yokoyama of RGG Studio. The game will include a demo version of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which is coming to consoles and PC in 2024.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is set to launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam on 8 November 2023.
