NetEase Games has announced that Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent will soon be available for the Southeast Asia region, with the release date set to December 2023.
According to NetEase’s official Facebook page, the narrative will unfold in Orsterra, a land overtaken by chaos, and it is the responsibility of the chosen one to restore peace. To confront adversaries within the game’s distinctive HD-2D art style, players will assemble a group of eight characters, each possessing their own unique abilities and specialities.
Additionally, players will have the option to select one of three primary storylines: Wealth, Fame, and Power. Each of these storylines will affect the protagonist’s fateful journey.
To make it even more enticing, interested players can now pre-register for the game starting today until the official launch date. The pre-registration process includes various milestones, beginning with a generous offer of 50 Rubies and 10,000 Leaves for the first 50,000 participants. As the number of pre-registrations increases, reaching up to 500,000, the reward escalates to an impressive 300 Rubies.
Champions of the Continent is a mobile spinoff of the JRPG series Octopath Traveler and is set to hit iOS and Android devices on 17 December 2023.
