New X-Men 97 Episode 9 Clip Confirms New Suits & Costumes

Marvel Studios and Disney+ Hotstar have released a clip from the upcoming X-Men 97 Episode 9, which confirms that the team will be getting new costumes.

For instance, Wolverine is getting his iconic yellow and brown costume from Uncanny X-Men #139 (1980).

Meanwhile, Cyclops goes back to his classic original comic book look from Uncanny X-Men #39(1963).

The synopsis reads:

The upcoming animated series revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future. The voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.

X-Men The Animated Series originally aired on Fox Kids for 76 episodes across five seasons from 1992 to 1997. The series is currently available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
