Sonic Superstars Opening Animation Looks Cool

SEGA has revealed the opening animation of Sonic Superstars, which gives us a sneak peek of the game, including the designs for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy; the new Emerald Powers; the setting for the adventure; the Northstar Islands, and more.

Sonic Superstars is a brand-new high-speed action game that combines the classic feel of the 2D side-scrolling Sonic series with crisp 3D graphics. A new adventure begins for Sonic and his pals, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, in the mysterious Northstar Islands, inhabited by gigantic creatures.

For the first time in the history of the series, you’ll be able to play with three other players locally.

It is slated to release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC sometime in fall 2023.
