Norman Reedus Might Be Doing More “Death Stranding Stuff”

Norman Reedus, the star of Hideo Kojima’s delivery man simulator Death Stranding, clearly isn’t done with the game yet.

In a new Wired video where he answers popular Google search questions about himself, Reedus casually mentions (around the 8:15 mark) that he’s “Talking to Hideo about maybe doing some Death Stranding stuff”.

It’s hardly confirmation of a sequel or expansion of course, but who knows? Maybe we’d get some DLC down the line, assuming that Kojima is also keen on doing more “Death Stranding stuff”.

Earlier in the video (around 4:24), Reedus explains how he got involved with the game in the first place. He said that Guillermo del Toro had told him to expect a call from Kojima, and that del Toro had told him, “Doesn’t matter who he is, just say yes.”

Reedus would later meet Kojima in San Diego Comic-Con, where he was “blown away” by Kojima’s then-current project. His next sentence teases another collaboration between him and Kojima.

“And then I became friends with him, started working with him, and we kept going, and so we did Death Stranding, which was a huge hit, and we’re in talks to do other stuff”.

We don’t know if that “other stuff” is the “Death Stranding stuff” he talks about later in the video. However, it seems that Reedus’ and Kojima’s partnership isn’t over yet.
