Suda 51’s Cult Classic Killer7 Will Be Out On PC

Goichi Suda, or Suda 51, is yet another fine example of an auteur game director. He is known for the No More Heroes series, Lollipop Chainsaw, and the severely underrated Shadows of the Damned. But most of us knew his name from the Nintendo GameCube cult classic adventure game Killer7.

Well, it’s coming out for PC, which means a ton of people will get to see what the big deal was back in the 2000s. This version will be out on Steam this Fall, with PC optimization and keyboard-and-mouse control.

Simply put, the game is about a group of assassins called the Killer7 who perform hits for the US government. Naturally, with each kill, the group discovers a huge conspiracy involving Japan.

Imagine if Snatcher and Myst had a baby, and its dad was Suda 51. Part rails shooter, part adventure game, Killer7 had a ton of crazy moments and an esoteric presentation. Like this scene:

To show you more would be a disservice. Best you wait until the PC port is out to enjoy the madness and surrealism that is Suda 51’s masterpiece.
