Sony’s Zombie Game Days Gone Delayed To April 2019

It’s only a matter of time until we get news of a big game of 2019 getting pushed back. In this case, it’s Days Gone, the zombie action game from Bend Studio (ex-Syphon Filter guys FYI), straight out of PlayStation’s mouth.

When’s the new date? The game will now be out 26 April 2019 instead of February 2019 because Bend Studio is taking the opportunity to further polish the game. Fine by me; better a polished game than a broken open-world mess, right?

To recap, Days Gone lets you control a drifter biker as he roams the post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest fighting zombies/Freakers and other hostile human factions. This game may go toe-to-toe with the upcoming Dying Light 2. That one has Chris Avellone doing the story, so unless Days Gone has an ace up their sleeves, Dying Light 2 might edge out in the narrative department.
