Vanillaware’s Upcoming Mecha Game Gets A Standalone Prologue
By Alleef Ashaari|January 8, 2019|0 Comment
Atlus Japan has announced the release date for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Prologue, which acts as a sneak preview of the 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It will feature prologue stories for all 13 characters in the upcoming adventure PS4 game, amounting to approximately 3 hours of game time.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Prologue will be available in both digital and physical starting from 14 March 2019 (via RPG Site). The digital version will be priced at 980 yen plus tax (or roughly $9.99) and comes with two original PS4 themes alongside a set of avatars. Meanwhile, the physical version will be priced at 2980 yen plus tax (or roughly $29.99) but it adds a 36-page visual book and a mini soundtrack CD that contains 10 BGMs from the game.
Additionally, the Japanese PS4 re-releases of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir and Dragon’s Crown Pro will arrive with a complimentary serial code to download 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Prologue for free. Unfortunately (for now), players won’t be able to transfer the save data from the prologue edition to the full game.
Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for more details and information regarding the full version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim in the future. While it was originally slated for a release in late 2018, Atlus later announced that the game was going to be delayed indefinitely along with the cancellation of the PS Vita version of the game.
