#11. Iron Man 3

This was supposed to be the best Iron Man movie, and in many ways, it was. The story and plot were great, seeing Tony struggle with PTSD in the aftermath of The Avengers, giving it a much bigger emotional heft. Everything pointed to this being the best Iron Man movie, with one huge exception.

Some may disagree with IM3 being this high, mostly due to the movie’s plot twist relating to the Mandarin. We thought it was a brilliant move, showing the audience how Marvel are willing to take risks in their storylines; not strictly adhering to the characters’ comic book representation. If we recall correctly, IM3 was the first MCU movie to totally throw viewers off their track when it comes to expectations and outcome.
