Sony Interactive Entertainment’s final State Of Play presentation for 2019 has revealed the release date for Predator: Hunting Grounds from IllFonic, the same studio behind 2017’s Friday The 13th: The Game.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetrical 1v4 multiplayer shooter, where players either play as one of four elite human members of Fireteam or as the Predator itself and hunt your prey. The game will also be notable for introducing playable female Predators.

There are three different Predator types or classes to choose from, including

• Hunter, the balanced killer (left)
• Scout, agile and can quickly stalk their prey (middle)
• Berserker, brutal, strong and able to take massive damage (right)

Those who pre-order the game will receive bonuses in the form of the exclusive ‘87 Predator skin and early access to the “Ole Painless” Mini-Gun, both inspired by the original Predator movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In addition, the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will feature exclusive in-game items including PlayStation-themed Predator and Fireteam skins, a digital copy of Predator: Hunters by Dark Horse Comics (120 pages!), and more.

Predator Hunting Grounds is slated to release for the PS4 and PC on 24 April 2019. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
