The Steam Game Festival Is Returning For Its Summer Edition

Just a month ago, The Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition gave us over 40 game demos to sample. While that event is now over, we’ll soon get the chance to try out dozens of other game demos again when The Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition arrives this June.

The Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition will run from 9 June to 14 June 2020; the former date happens to be the date E3 2020 was meant to kick off prior to its cancellation.

“The Steam Game Festival is an event that shines a spotlight on games set to be released within the next year,” reads Valve’s description.

“From June 9th – 14th, check out upcoming releases, try them out with time-limited demos or short playable experiences, connect with the developers behind the games, and add games to your wishlist for a reminder when they release!”

The Spring Edition of the festival was indie-oriented, and while the Summer Edition’s description doesn’t mention anything about that, it’ll likely follow the same theme. The Spring Edition had several delightful titles, some of which I’ve wish-listed already, so I’m definitely looking forward to the festival’s next iteration.

In the meantime, here’s the link to the Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition page, though there’s not much on it for now. Best you just bookmark it.
