Crysis Remastered Finally Has A Release Date

Crysis, the one PC game that is known for pushing rigs to the limit, will be getting a remastering this year. “But when?”, you may ask as a PC master race guy or gal yourself.

Well, we now know that (a) it’s getting a sneak preview moment this week and (b) it’s coming out this July. The official preview video will launch in about 36 hours at this time of writing (2nd July 0:00; close to 1st July 23:59).

And according to the Microsoft Store, Crysis Remastered will be out on 23rd July and will take up 7.01GB of your HDD space. This isn’t the first time the Microsoft Store has jumped the gun with these announcements; see Mafia Definitive Edition and Star Wars Squadron.

So what can we expect from this graphically-improved Crysis? We may be getting higher quality textures and new graphical features like “Cryengine’s native hardware and API-agnostic ray tracing solution”. And also 4K Ultra HD support, so have fun with that!
