Microsoft Is Asking Xbox Players If They Want PS5 DualSense Features

We’re only a few months into the next-gen console life-span and Microsoft is already asking if Xbox players want to have some of the features in the PS5 DualSense controller in its new Xbox Series X and Series S gamepads.

As reported by TechRadar, the company has given out a survey to Xbox players asking questions like whether the Xbox Series X/S “feels next-gen”, as well as whether the PS5’s DualSense had any features that they might want to be included in the new Xbox controller.

This isn’t unprecedented, considering that the new Xbox Series X/S controller doesn’t really feature any brand new or innovative tech. In fact, it incorporates last-gen ides like the PS4’s DualShock 4’s dedicated Share button.

Meanwhile, the PS5 DualSense controller at least tried to introduce new “next-gen” features like the new and improved haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Compared to the PS5’s DualSense, the Xbox Series X/S controller doesn’t seem like much of a “next-gen” improvement, which is probably why Microsoft is doing this survey now.
