Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance Co-Op RPG Drops This June
By Alleef Ashaari|March 17, 2021|1 Comment
Publisher Wizards Of The Coast and developer Tuque Games have announced the release date for co-op action RPG Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance. It is slated to launch for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam on 22 June 2021.
The game will be available in RM156 for the Standard Edition and RM234 for the Digital Deluxe Edition. The standard edition includes the game and “Beholder Weapon Set”. Meanwhile, the Digital Deluxe Edition includes all of that, as well as the “Lich Weapon Set†and “Echoes of the Blood War†expansion content.
Unfortunately, Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance won’t include an offline couch or split-screen co-op mode at launch. Speaking with Polygon, the game’s creative director Jeff Hattem said:
“All the environments are very unique looking, and we wanted to bring the Forgotten Realms to life.
Icewind Dale, particularly, is a very harsh environment.
We wanted to bring that to life, and that’s partially why we got we got ahead of ourselves and why local co-op is not in the build at launch. We had to make a choice at some point.
Do we fully realize these environments, these monsters, and make it as immersive as possible?
We put the foot on the gas on that front.â€
Thankfully, Hattem also confirmed that couch co-op play could potentially come at a later date alongside other new content like new missions, new locations, new characters, and new gear sets.
In the meantime, check out the trailer and gameplay footage below:

Looks good but very dissapointing they won’t include couch co-op or split screen screen co-op. No doubt that’ll be launched as expensive DLC when it should just be part of the base game.
